One of my friend since my infancy opened a Italian restaurant named "Bona sera" 10 years ago.The building of the restaurant is the annex to the house where my friend had been raised and I had visited frequently.
The name of the restaurant and the menu were changed some years ago. Pasta is still on the menu but pizza was culled and omelet rice was added.
After studying in the agricultural college and working for the farmer's cooperative in Oketo Town in the eastern part of Hokkaido, he decided to open a Italian restaurant in Kitami City and left Kitami City for Osaka Metropolitan Area to be trained in cooking school and restaurants, leaving his wife and three kids behind.
I really appreciate the patience his wife showed to him and parents, albeit my friend Mr.Satoshi Miura had a tough time in Osaka City.
The capacity of this restaurant is so small that I recommend to have a reservation at 0157-36-7795 but my friend does not have a good command in English. So if you feel any difficulties to book a table, please do not hesitate to contact me at kazuakiikd@ezweb.ne.jp or ikeda.kazuaki@pref.hokkaido.lg.jp
Outside terrace is very comfortable to have a nap in the afternoon after enjoying the beer and wine.
Now that few guests drink wine or beer in this restaurant, this wine cellar contains a few bottles of wine.
Mr.Miura and his wife raised three girls and one boy.The senior sister was successful to enter Hokkaido Educational College in Sapporo this year and the younger sister will try the entrance exam for Hokkaido Educational College in Hakodate.
The youngest boy is a rugger in Engaru High School. Mr.Miura gives his son a ride and carries to the railway station early in the morning everyday.
Only ten chairs are available in this restaurant.
The sauce of pasta is made from the tomatoes sourced locally and can be taken out to use in home.
The tomatoes for sauce are stored in freezer to provide all the year round.
The ceiling is very nice and enough space over the guests in spite of the width of floor.
This omelete, me gusta!
Please drop by and eat in this restaurant !
Clam spaghetti is one of my favorite as well as mushroom & white cream sauce spaghetti!
This restaurant is along Yuhigaoka-dori. Thank you in advance!
I agree with you on the reservation. Italian restaurants are usually small and can only handle a few patrons. Also, Italian food takes time before to fully cook, so that reservation should save some time while giving you a comfortable dining. :)
