National Vice President of China Mr. Wang was found by many Chinese tourists in Jigokudani which means "Hell Valley" in Japanese. They waved their hands to Mr. Wang and were responded.  I went to the next point to take photos and Security Polices appeared later.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

It seemed that I was recognized as an official cameraman from Hokkaido side by Chinese delegation and Japanese Secutiry Police.  Keeping the way  clear for Mr. Wang,  I took photos as many as zI could.

Mr. Wang arrived at the entrance of Sapporo Park Hotel where the welcome lunch would be hosted by Governor Suzuki and Speaker of Hokkaido Legislative Assembly Mr. Noritoshi Murata. They were pleased to meet again. Some words of welcome and appreciation was exchanged before heading to the venue of the welcome lunch.

The Guard !

Security Police is required to get aware of a vatiety of risk and crises. They should concentrate on keeping the target safe and comfortable. If something different from normal safe situation has been recognized, they have to protect the target using their body as a barrier.

Consul General Mr. Sun Zhen Yong looked so happy and please to talk to Mr. Wang. He is incharge of the relationship between China and Hokkaido. I hope he will get the good position in Chinese Government after his mandate in Sapporo.

Can you find the difference between Security Police of China and Japan ? Chinese SP might be used to protect the target from assasination in their country. Current Japanese Security Police has not experienced real assasination. That is sure.

What they are talking !

National Vice President of China Mr. Wang Qishan and Consul General of China in Sapporo continued to talk on something other than the scenery in front of them, I thought.

If they got this area as a part of China, what would they make change of the landscape and usage? The beauty of the area would be preserved ?

Striking the balance between economy and keeping the beautiful nature is very difficult even in Japan. Once they got the land, what do you think will happen to this island and people?

I hope all the delegation members from China enjoyed their visit to Jigokudani in Noboribestu but I think much more exciting and magnificent landscape are in China.

I think it was so important for them to take photos in Hokkaido. It must be like putting up the national flag on the newly found island.

During his stay in Hokkaido, Mr. Wang and Consul General of China in Sapporo talked about something that seemed to be different from the scenery they watched. That may be influencing to the future of Hokkaido.

In the Hell Valley !

On our way to the deepest area in the valley called Jigukudani in Japanese, National Vice President of China Mr. Wang got aware of something and smiled.

He waved his hand to somebody. To whom do you think Mr. Wang waved his hand ? What he watched in the valley was the scenery shown in the photos but he found something else.

Hell Valley, Jigokudani !

National Vice President of China Mr. Wang Qishan was still surrounded by the security police of Japan and China when he visited Jigokudani, Hell Valley in English but it is not real hell at all.

It is the hot spring area of Noboribetsu Town and there are many hot spring spa hotels around the valley. i am not sure what Mr. Wang imagined before he visited there but other kind of surprise was waiting for him.

All the delegation members from China other than security police seemed to be enjoying their visit to this area. We recognized his popularity later.

The Second Day of Mr. Wang's Visit to Hokkaido !

It was cloudy on the second day of Mr. Wang's visit to Hokkaido. Thick clouds were over Lake Toya. It seemed that the hillside held a agricultural fields before. Nowadays, they were turned to residential area. 

Everytime I jog around Lake Toya, an automobile is beside the road from where the perspective of Lake Toya can be seen. Always it is the same car. I've never stop by the car but I was so interested in what the driver was doing. 

Mr. Wang Qishan left The Hotel Winsor Lake Toya in the morning. Many security police of Japan and China surrounded him. He headed to Jigokudani, which means Hell Valley, in Noboribetsu City.

Fed up with sea urchin ?

National Vice President of China Mr. Wang continued to try the sample of fresh sea urchin products one after another. I hope Mr. Wang had a happy time in this factory. I heard he had said he had eaten a full amount of sea urchin a human being would eat in life.

To keep the shape of sea urchin, soaking in alm water is the easiest way. He ate the sea urchin preserved with alm too. I hope he understood enough how the products were made.

Mr. Wang appreciated the hospitality shown by the manager of Ogawa Shoten and the tasting opportunity in the factory. Knowing that top-quality sea urchin cuisine were waiting for him, he left the factory of Ogawa Shoten after sunset.

Uni Uni Uni, Sea Urchin Sea Urchin Sea Urchin !

National Vice President of China Mr. Wang seemed to recognize the difference of the sea urchin products
presereved with alm or salt water. Many samples were provided by Ogawa Shoten. I hope that many Chinese people will buy the products made in Hokkaido.

We had heard that Mr. Wang loved the taste of fresh sushi-grade sea urchin and we saw how he loved that in front of us. He tried a variety of sea urchin in the facility.

I think his favorite is sea urchin preserved in salt-water. Other members of the Chinese delegation did not try the sample of the sea urchin so much. They were not sure how much sea urchin Mr. Wang would try, I think.

As a memento of his visit !

The local tour guide sincerely explained to the National Vice President  of China how the current Mt. Usu had been made. The eruption had blown away the considerable amount of the mountain body. The edge of th crater could be seen from the lookout of the mountain. 

Ragged edge of the crater made of rocks was pointing the sky in front of Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang was listening to her expalnation on the mountain. Consul General of China Mr. Sun was also listening calmly.

Can you find the line that shows the original shape of Mt. Usu on the phto that the guide shwed to Mr. Wang ? Most of the part of Mt. Usu flew away and was splattered around the mountain. Mr. Wang seemed to be interested in the history.
