Governor Suzuki showed a variety of countenances delivering his congratulatory words. The new governor is the youngest among the governors in Japan.

Mayor of Sapporo City Mr. Katsuhiro Akimoto also delivered a speech. He had been so experienced office clerk in the municipality of Sapporo. His ability and personality was widely known in Hokkaido.

Almost all the citizens wanted him to become the Mayor of Sapporo City. I have never seen such mayor before. The young Governor of Hokkaido will take steps forward learning and delivering a lot down the line.

After saying good-bye to the mayor of Engaru Town and other local participants of the town, I wen to the hot spring spa of the lodge late night.

As I was not successful to take the clear photo of the space, I took the photos of the area again the next morning.

I think you can see the comfy space to mingle before and after enjoying the hot spring spa. This fire place is a fake but can provide enough comfortableness and warmness to the guests.

Hokkaido Japan-US Society celebrated its 65th Anniversary this year.
The ceremony was started with singing the national anthem of Japan and the United States of America.

The new Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Naomichi Suzuki delivered the words of congratulations. I have never seen the attendance of the Governor of Hokkaido to the regular meeting of this society before.

The Chair of the Japan-US Society Mr. Yoshiro ITO seemed to be satisfied with the gubernatorial attendance to the ceremony. He looked to have got skinny. This construction tycoon has run the entity and kept the good relationship with the US Navy.

Ambassador Kavanagh met Governor Suzuki 2 !

His Excellency Mr. Paul Kavanagh and the Mayor of Engaru Town Mr. Sasaki will invite Governor Suzuki to Engaru Town next year when the delegation from Ireland visit the town.

The timing should be contemplated amply for the success of their plan. It will be after the Olympic Games to be held in Tokyo next year, I think.

Ambassador Kavanagh enjoyed and savor enough the triumph of the national rugby team of Ireland, I think.

Ambassador Kavanagh paid a courtesy call on Governor Naomichi Suzuki the other day. His Excellency had many things to talk to Governor Suzuki but the time for the meeting was so limited that His Excellency could not explain enough on his plan for next year.

If his plan will go well next year, that will be played up by mass media and be broadcast to the world. Please be looking forward to the news that will cover their plan.

I think that Ambassador Kavanagh likes the story of the spruce trees from Ireland grown up in Engaru Town and rugby exchange between Ireland and Engaru Town.

The Honorary Consul Mr. Kasama has given good supports to the country and will continue to do that. He seemed to have already figured out an excellent plan for next year.

I will also be involved in their plan even if I would be assigned to outside of the international affairs in my organization. The legend will start.

Mayor of EngaruTown and Ambassador Kavanagh held a press scrum in the building of the municipality.They announced on their plan to invite the athletes from Ireland next year.

The athletes to be dispatched from Ireland to the Olympic Games to be held in Tokyo next year and the ones dispatched in 1964 with their descendants will be invited to Engaru Town next year.

Before that, I would like the Mayor to invite the rugger men of Ireland to the town this year and let them teach the high school rugger men in the town.

Hot Spring Spa in Maure Mountain Lodge 2 !

I hope, the Irish Ambassador Mr. Paul Kavanagh enjoyed enough this hot spring spa in the woods and he will take the Irish athletes to this accommodation in Engaru Town.

After jogging around the lodge, the hot spring water took off the pain and fatigue of the muscle of my thigh and other parts of my body. Cold air in the woods and the aroma of the spruce took me to the world of comfort.

Ambassador Kavanagh and Mayor Sasaki had a press scrum to announce on the plan to enhance the exchange between Ireland and Engaru Town. The common sport of them is Rugby !

Go Go Ireland Today ! Hot Spring Spa in Maure Mountain Lodge !

I think His Excellency Mr. Paul Kavanagh is watching the rugby game of Ireland and Scotland in Tokyo.
He had a rest in this hot spring spa with us. 
The national rugby team of Ireland has got the third try in the first half of the game already.
They seems to be so confident of their forward power.
The three try was extremely exciting. 

I would like them to ease the pain and have an ample rest in this facility because big spruce trees of Ireland are still growing in this town.

Bar Dining Tokoharu Dinner!

The scion of the Speaker of Hokkaido Legislative Assembly Mr. Noritoshi Murata runs a Bar Dining named Tokoharu at the west end of Tanuki-koji, 2nd floor of Taiyo Building, Minami 3-jo Nishi 8-chome in Sapporo.

Tokoharu is the namesake of the warm sunshine in spring and heart-warming hospitality.
The starter was tomato soup followed by grilled burdock and duck with spicy sauce. Grilled pacific saury and fennel followed.

Two kinds of "Magic pasta" were served on the beautiful saucers with sophisticated taste and filled up our stomach and heart. I was struck by the taste and sense of beauty.
Grilled and boiled ox tale was marvelous in that night.

A slice of Japanese red-snapper was grilled slightly and flavored with with herb and gravy sauce. Grilled duck breast was the protagonist in that dinner. Please check out the web site of the restaurant at
