Hokkaido-Mongolia Relationship forever !

At the end of the planting ceremony for the future of Mongolia and Hokkaido, the delegation head of Mongolia and the vice delivered their thanks note in front of the pparticipants.

In the evening on the same day, Mongolian traditional artistic performances drew many people of local authorities and Hokkaido Mongolian Association.

Dance, song, soft-body performance struck us as the Mongolian original arts and performances. It is not from China.

Cherry Trees Planted for the future of Hokkaido and Mongolia!

The participants to the planting ceremony included the directors of Hokkaido Development Agency, Hokkaido Branch of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Investment and  JICA Hokkaido.

In the hot and bright sunshine in summer, each participant put the soil little by little at the foot of the cherry tree to promise to exert their best efforts for the future of Mongolia and Hokkaido.

Needless to say, accelerating the exchanges between Mongolia and Hokkaido was included in their promise. It seemed that such cherry tree seedlings will be planted every year down the road.

For the future of Hokkaido and Mongolia !

To celebrate the first charter flight between New Chitose International Airport and Ulaanbaatar of Mongolia, a planting ceremony was held at the southern end of Sapporo City, Koganeyu Hot spring area.

The former Cabinet Secretary Mr. Tsutomu TAKEBE whose former riding included my hometown Kitami City delivered his speech with so nice and able interpreter who had been born in Mongolia and learned in Hokkaido University.

A seedling of cherry tree was planted at the center of the cherry tree-area on the higher part of Koganeyu Cherry Blossom Forest of the park.

What is the difference between the attractions in Brazil and Mongolia ? Above is the one of the protagonists of the performers kindly visited the famous bar-hopping area of Sapporo City and fascinated Sapporo citizens.

One of the big draws of the attractions in the reception for the Mongolian delegation and the Mongolian traditional performance show held in Sapporo was this acrobatic and unbelievable flexible- body performance like that in China. 

Precisely speaking, such kinds of performance was brought by Mongolian Empire that ruled the current land of China.
Just after the reception for the Mongolian Delegation, Susukino Samba Carnival got started.

In the reception to welcome the Mongolian delegation, the Mongolian traditional music performers charmed the participants to the reception so much.

First off, so fascinating song fitted the magnificent landscape of Mongolia grabbed the hearts of the participants who loved Mongolia and Hokkaido.

The Mongolian traditional strings seemed to have the shape of square different from the normal strings of occidental strings such as fiddle, violin and viola.

Mongolian Diet Members paid a courtesy call on the new young Governor of Hokkaido !

One of the powerful diet members of Mongolian Diet and the Head of Mongolian Tourism Association paid a courtesy call on the new young Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Naomichi SUZUKI.

Former Cabinet Secretary Mr. Tsutomu TKEBE whose riding was in the eastern part of Hokkaido including my hometown Kitami City, accompanied with the Mongolian delegation and requested the Governor of Hokkaido to host the reception for the delegation.

Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Nakano delivered the welcome remarks at the beginning of the reception. The Mongolian delegation visited Hokkaido by air. Precisely speaking, the first charter flight arranged for the exchange between Hokkelegation visited Hokkaido by air. Northern Kitchen in Sapporo!

Above is the starter of our dinner on that day. Prochute and salami sausage. It was so nice a restaurant named "Northern Kitchen" in Sapporo.

Among the yum menu of the restaurant, my favorite is "quatro fromage" pizza.

I forgot to take the photo of the pizza after having this roasted quality beef topped with spinach and cheese. The condition of the beer in the restaurant was also so good !    

Japan-Korea Friendship Mini-Volleyball Exchange 3 !

I raised glass with this gentleman again and again in that night and promised to meet again in Gyeongsangnam-do and Hokkaido.

All the members of the delegation and the host side got together and took memorial photos on the stage.

I hope that we will be able to continue this exchange of goodwill and friendship forever. We welcome the Korean people including the tourists as usual.

Japan-Korea Friendship Mini-Volleyball Exchange 2 !

Hokkaido International Exchange and Cooperation Center called HIECC host threw the party for the friends from Gyeongsangnam-do of Korea.

The difficulty between the countries exists but our friendship will never change through mini volley ball games, I hope.

This is the key person who calls a shot in the mini volley ball exchange. We make the most of this sport to enhance the understanding and friendship with Sakhalin, Heilongjiang too.

Have you ever heard of "Mini Volley Ball " ? It is not for harsh competition but for staying fit and enhancing exchange between a variety of people.

Gyeongsangnam-do and Hokkaido are continuing the exchange making the use of this soft-type sport for years. Seniors, youths and people of other ages can enjoy this sport  together. 

The delegation of "mini volley ball team visited Hokkaido. It was just before the conflict between Japan and Korea got so serious but the delegation members recognized the delicate situation between the countries.
