For the future of Hokkaido and Mongolia !

To celebrate the first charter flight between New Chitose International Airport and Ulaanbaatar of Mongolia, a planting ceremony was held at the southern end of Sapporo City, Koganeyu Hot spring area.

The former Cabinet Secretary Mr. Tsutomu TAKEBE whose former riding included my hometown Kitami City delivered his speech with so nice and able interpreter who had been born in Mongolia and learned in Hokkaido University.

A seedling of cherry tree was planted at the center of the cherry tree-area on the higher part of Koganeyu Cherry Blossom Forest of the park.
