What we left in Hawaii and Hokkaido !

The sunrise was so beautiful and so shiny in Waikiki on that day. My wife seemed to be so satisfied with her unusual early bird and the scenery of Waikiki early in the morning.

Just after our visit to Hawaii, the annual meeting of "Malama Hawaii" was held in Sapporo. The Chair of the entity Ms. Reiko T. Rogers, one of the Hokkaido Smile Ambassadors in Hawaii led off the meeting and the party.

Asked by the former Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Yoshihiro YAMAYA, the current Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Naomichi SUZUKI took part in the party and delivered his congraturatory speech to the participants. The Kumu Flas, the teachers of Fla Dance were so pleased to see the youngest and handsome Governor in Japan.

Good Morning, Waikiki !

My wife got up early in the morning on that day to stroll around Waikiki Beach and Kuhio Beach. She has never been an early bird usually, but she asked me to wake her up after my jogging. I am convinced that we have to thank amply to our guardians, families and friends.

Now, I can realize how we have been and are so happy with nice friends all over the world. What  beautiful lives we have stepped forward ! We would like to visit there and see them again after the nuisance on this globe has been taken away.

Our Friends in Hawaii !

We make a point of having nice dinner in Hy's Steak House in Waikiki every time we visit Hawaii. We love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the chef really do good job to provide us the supreme beefsteak as well as grilled toast topped with melted cheese.

Males have to wear the shirt with collar in this restaurant. Jacket is not required but I wear a Jacket like this every time we visit the restaurant. The staff members on the floor are so kind and sophisticated. Based on my recommendation, the members of Hokkaido Legislative Assembly had enjoyed nice dinner there when the Speaker signed the Agreement with the Speakers of Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Hawaii in May, 2017.

My Bro. in Honolulu Mr. Pali Kaaihue, the famous TV producer and superb musician  kindly brought us souvenirs for us. What a happy time we had in Hawaii ! I had visited his huge house in Honolulu and met his mom and aunt before the visit.  They were so pretty and nice to us. Thanks a lot my Bro. !

Afternoon Tea in the First Lady of Waikiki !

I am also missing my friends in Hawaii and sea turtle in the ocean. Sipping tropical drink was also so nice in this area. I am getting eager to savor again this afternoon tea set in Moana Surfrider Westin Resort and Spa.

My wife loves to see and have such pretty and delicious tea set in Waikiki. I can not imagine almost vacant Moana Surfrider but that must be real now. What was wron on this globe , my friends ?

After enjoed enough the afternoon tea in Moana Surfrider Westin Resort and Spa, we headed to Ala Moana Center to meet Senator Mr. Glen Wakai and his wife Miki-san. We were almost full  but before late dinner, they kindly treat us to nice culinary delicacies in cozy restaurant in Ala Moana Center. Thank you so much, Glen-san and Miki-san.

The First Lady of Waikiki !

I had arranged an interview with former Governor of Hokkido Ms. Harumi Takahashi and my bro. in Honolulu Mr. Pali Kaaihue, TV producer and musician here in Moana Surfrider Westin Resort and Spa in 2017. The movie film was so nice but I should make the most of that for the promotion of Hokkaido.

My wife and I have visited there again but that time, we went there for enjoying afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes. My wife is so missing Hawaii and our friends living there, to be honest.

I think Moana Surfrider was the first hotel we stayed in Hawaii one year after our marriage. We stayed in the old original building of the hotel, so the room was a little bit narrower than the new wing but we really enjoyed "the First Lady in Waikiki" and I bought a pendant of open heart by Tiffany in the hotel. It was 27 years ago.

Hokkaido Fair in Honolulu !

I've never seen guarana drink in the USA. I heard that it was imported from Brazil to Hokkaido before coca cola swept Japane from sea to sea. Potato chips and corn frakes made in Hokkaido were displayed in the front line.

I've never compared the taste of "Lays" potato chips made in Canada, that in the USA with their counterpart in Japan but in order to make the customer open the door to the new products, some kinds of advantages will be required, I think. It may be difficult to let them get over the hardle to the new one for them.

"Fukubukuro" which means  "Lucky bags" were near the entrance of the supermarket. After the pandemic of Wuhan virus from China, those supermarket might have been closed in the "Lockdown" situation in Hawaii. We have to buy Hawaii products to save the people in Hawaii, I think. Macademia neuts, coffee, dried fruits, island slipper and so on. Let us buy them on the Internet !

Sheraton Waikiki and Mitsuwa Super Market!

We could see beautiful carps and wildducks swimming in the pool of the courtyard in Sheraton Waikiki. We coul feed the carps. Ocean winds were blowing into the courtyard and the trees made shades, so it was so comfortable to stay in the courtyard of Sheraton Waikiki.

During our stay in Hawaii, Hokkaido Fair was held in Mitsuwa Waikiki.. It was small fair in the market place to promote the Hokkaido products. So many items were restricted to import to the USA, so the kinds of the marchandizes were limited there.

This is the products from Hokkaido. They were a little bit more expensive than the price in Hokkaido. If the restrictions were removed, we will be able to make the relationship between Hawaii and Hokkaido much better than now, I think.

A Police Officer Died !

Do you remember that a female police officer in Honolulu died in her duty ?
Her office was Waikiki Police Station we saw every day in Hawaii. Many flowers were set in front of the police station just after her death.

I heard that she had children. I hope her children will also have the courage as she did. We had really happy time with our friends in Hawaii in last January.

I used to worry about the terror in the Pleasure Islands Hawaii before. Wuhan virus from China is a kind of  biological weapon ? Their malice took away eveything from us. Don't you think so ?

Sunset Waikiki !

It was so beautiful "Magic Hour" of setting sun. Sometimes my wife do so funny behavior. I love this photo so much. I can not understand enough her even now.

 Every morning I jog around Waikiki Beach from PK to Diamond Head, dive into the ocean and take shower here beside surfboard stand during my stay in Honolulu.

 We make a point of savoring beefsteak twice during our stay in Honolulu. Our favorite is Hy's Steakhouse but the direct flight from New Chitose International Airport to Honolulu arrives in the morning and only Wolfgang Steakhouse is available just after our arrival. So we go to Royal Hawaiian Shopping Mall and have sizzling tomahawk there.

Bring back the happy time from the clandestine organization !

It may be prohibited to get together in Hawaii because of the current steep increase of the infection cases of covid-19 CCP virus from Wuhan, China. Alamoana Park was very calm even when we visited in last January.

I heard that meetings of six or more people was banned and every citizens should do cocooning in their house. It's very tough for them to cocoon in their house in Honolulu, I think.

Almost no car can be seen even in Waikiki beach area now. Watching the photo taken in last January, I felt
my wife was missing the warmness and the scenery of Hawaii as well as our friends living there.

Alamoana Park !

My wife and I are missing this bright sunshine and shining green with beautiful blue ocean. CCP virus took them all from us unfortunately.

 Who allowed them to do such thing ? Who made them penetrate the world and brought the harmful system of clandestine organization ?

 Apparently the power made a mistake to chose the partner. CCPs on this globe killed millions of innocent people on this globe. Let us do what we can do for the future of the kids all over the world.
