Canola Blossoms blooming in Takikawa City!
I hope the canola blossoms will keep blooming in Takikawa City this weekend because I could not extricate myself from my homework of on-demand lecture given by the professor in Malaysia. I was bushed last weekned.
It is the good season for cycling before rainy season even in the main island of Japan but much better in Hokkaido before ultra violet ray burn up our skins.
Something smells good you will recognize.
Skewered grilled chicken is sold inn the stand and waiting for you to beef you up!
The irresistible smell will catch your heart. Other "yakitoti stands" can be seen on your way to Sapporo along the Route 12, that are run by well-founded restaurant in Sorachi sub-prefectural area such as Fikuyoshi, Mifune or Tatsumi.
Free shuttle buses are available from this roadside station in Takikawa to the canola fields shining. Four days are left until the festival close the cartain. But sooner, the better, considering the weather and temperature.
