The Hawaiian delegation visited Hokkaido Shinto Shrine in Sapporo.
Some of them bought and picked up fortunetelling slips at the shrine.It might be difficult to translate their fortune written on the slip.
Then they visited Hokkaido University to discuss the potential international studens from Hawaii and the program the university would be able to provide.
So many Hawaiian high school students seemed to be interested in coming to Hokkaido to study. Once the international sutedents have been in Hokkaido, they would fall in love with the nature and thepeople in Hokkaido.
I would like to take care of the students from Hawaii then. The youth of Hawaii who got used to all-time-summer may experience mental depression in long winter of Hokkaido but we can teach them how to enjoy the world of shining snow and ice, I think.
