At last, the Superintendent of Education in the State of Hawaii Dr. Christina M. KISHIMOTO visited Hokkaido to sign up the agreement on enhancing the educational exchange between the State of Hawaii and Hokkaido.
The next day of their arrival in Sapporo, the educational delegation headed by Dr. Kishimoto and my friend Ms. Judy NAGASAKO visited the Olympic Museum on the hillside of Mt. Ohkura.
They tried some "virtual" winter sports such as cross-country skiing, ski jump in the museum. They are very popular attractions in the museum. After watching around the facilities that the high school students from Hawaii would visit in their learning visit to Hokkaido, they visited Hokkaido University and Hokkaido Sapporo Intercultural and Technological High School in Sapporo.
They would visit Obihiro Hakuyo High School too to establish a sister-school affiliation between Kalani High School and Obihiro Hakuyo High School. Their schedul during their stay in Hokkaido was so tight, solid and exciting.
