My wife and I chose a rice bowl topped with fresh sushi-grade sea urchin, salmon roe and boiled king crab for lunch on that day. The lunch set is 3,800 Japanese Yen. The sea urchin is "Ezo Bafun Uni" which means "Hokkaido horse-dung sea urchin" in Japanese.
The wild forest of spruce and other kinds of trees made waves of dark and bright green on the hillside of Shiretoko mountainous area.
One of the islands of Japanese Northern Territory Kunashiri Island could be seen clearly in the south. Basically, it is prohibited to go there from Japan without passport by Russia and with passport by Japanese central government.
