We are not so annoyed by heavy snow like last year but even so, we had more snow fall than usual.
"Dokayuki Matsuri" which means Heavy Snow Festival will be held in Iwamizawa City on Feb.16(Sat.) and 17(Sun.). Ice slope, snow and ice sculptures and many food stands will be there and enjoyable even in cold wind particularly for kids and youngsters.
Many kinds of culinary delight can be savored in the venue. Please try the food sourced locally in Sorachi sub-prefectural area!
