The Mayor of Engaru Town Mr. Shuichi Sasaki handed the mementos to The Mayor of Bastos City Mr. Manuel Rosa. One of them was wooden craft made of the tree planted in the year of Tokyo Olympic Games held in 1964.
The seeds of the tree were brought from the countries on the northern sphere including Ireland that has a special relationship with Engaru Town. The pine tree from Ireland grew the largest in the forest of Olympic Trees.
The Chair of Engaru Town Council Mr. Shinichi Sugimoto also handed some mementos to the Mayor of Bastos City and took some memorial photos.
