Speaking of fast food in the platform of the railway station in Japan, buckwheat noodle soup may be the "must" for train lovers called "Tetchan" and normal users. In the morning of the departure to Hakodate City by the special Limited Express Train "Niseko Go", my wife requested to have Kitsune Soba.
I chose the seasonal special buckwheat noodle soup topped with a few pieces of Pacific herring dried and boiled with soy sauce and kelp broth. I gave her a piece of Pacific herring for tasting but as always, she could not eat up one serve, so I ate up the rest.
This is the seasonal special in the buckwheat noodle soup counter. Sapporo Railway Station have a few buckwheat noodle soup counter in some platform but only the one on the platform 5 and 6 is available early in the morning. Please be careful.
