This monochrome portrait of Mayor Sasaki was made of small stones. The same kinds of portrait of Mayor Manuel Rosa was on the wall of the Mayor's office. Mayor Sasaki found the portrait in the office of Bastos City and gazed at that, the Mayor recognized Mr. Sasaki's interest in the portrait.
Kindly, Mayor Manuel Rosa ordered to make the portrait made of small stones as the souvenir for Mayor Sasaki. In return, the delegation members from Bastos City were sent the wood carvings of the 50th Anniversary.
All the participants to the ceremony looked so happy and enjoying the event. I know how tough the total flights from Brasil to Japan because I visited Paraguay and Brasil in August of 2019 leading the official delegation from Hokkaido. We had to stay on our toes to avoid sudden physical change of the delegation members.
