After the official reception to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Sister-City Affiliation between Engaru Town and Bastos City, Brasil, we went out to the downtown for after-party though nobody was walking in the bar-hopping area.
I was so concerned on the situation of the area but one traditional Japanese "Snack" was waiting for us. Japanese spirits "Shochu", pints of beer whiskey, Japanese sake and some snack were on the table.
The interpreter, the international student from Brasil did a good job actually but it must be lucky for Engaru Town that he happened to select Kitami Institute of Technology as the place to learn.
