This is the statue of the water hobgoblin called "Kappa" in Jouzankei river park, Sapporo. I am not sure the benefits and reward of worship to Kappa but many coins were donated to the statue.
We Japanese fully enjoy each season and the seasonal culinary delights sourced locally every year. Of course, we appreciate enough the godsend and the happiness. How about you ?
