In the morning of our departure to Sapporo City, I found a few flowers of azalea were blooming in the front garden of my home. They are called "Kaeribana" which means the flower coming back in Japanese.
It was so hot last summer and we had some days of Indian summer this year. The flowers might be confused of the season and the warmness. Spring has not come yet and cold winter is coming soon.
Before the white cold snow season, we dropped by the Blue Pond in Biei Town on our way back to Sapporo. Many tourists from overseas seemed to be returning to Hokkaido. Foreign languages could be heard around the pond. The Kingdom of tourism Hokkaido will rise again.
