This is the highland marsh "Shinsennuma" on the way from Hirafu Area of Kutchan Town to Iwanai Town.The season of flowers are very short in this area. The surface of the marsh turned to sand beige but the plants in the water were still pale green.
No insects could be seen in the shape of imago. They were waiting for short spring and summer in the shape of egg or pupa under the water or in the ground.
The wooden path made over the marsh requires regular maintenance and repair. It takes costs and manpower to do that but in order to create the harmony of the artificial products and the nature, it is necessary.
