On our way back to Sapporo, we dropped by a buckwheat noodle restaurant in the outskirt of Niki Town. Without navigation system, we would not be able to reach the restaurant at the foot of a small mountain.
It is run by a friend of our soul mate in Tokyo. She raised up two kids. The buckwheat noodle was so delicious. There were so many bottles of wine on the shelves. It was like an auberge because the building had some rooms for guests to stay.
I chose duck meat buckwheat noodle soup and my wife yam paste noodle soup. The restaurant provides the guests with narrow space to eat and savor their noodle but the atmosphere was so nice. Please try it when you have enough time to stroll around the suburbs of the town.
