As mentioned before, this is the Hokkaido tourism promotion character "Kyun-chan" which motif is a pika living in the mountainous area in Japan including Hokkaido. It wears the head cover made of grab and branches of the tree by itself in the fiction story of its birth.
It may be better to featuring "Kyun-chan" to promote Hokkaido tourism than my report. A pretty character's story may be intriguing much more viewers and attracts more would-be visitors to Hokkaido.
We've reached Asahikawa City near "the roof of Hokkaido" Daisetsuzan Mountainous Area including Mt. Asahi(dake), the highest in Hokkaido.
