We were heading to the northern end of Hokkaido. Hokkaido Tourism Promotion Character "Kyun-chan" which motif is a pika accompanied us. It wore the cap of deer-head.
This is the locomotive of the train. The cockpit is behind the windshield.The width of the railway is narrower than that of the bullet train and the ones in the USA and Europe.
Using the train is so eco-friendly and almost stress free compared to driving a vehicle by ourselves. But we have to lug around the Boston bag or some kind of luggage outside of the cart. In case of car driving, just put the luggage in the trunk of the car without lugging around our baggage for a long while. We bought meal boxes topped with fresh and sushi-grade seafood on that day.
