I think there must be much more people in this Imperial Park of Tokyo on usual weekends. The cases of covid-19 infection was not decreasing in Tokyo when we visited there. So fewer people were in this park.
But thanks to the fewer visitors to this park, we could enjoy walking around in this beautiful park maintained so nicely. Cherry blossoms refreshed us so much that we felt we got the second wing even after walking for hours.
At the moment I wrote this article, I had to wait two or more weeks to see the cherry blossoms fully blooming in Sapporo City but some cherry trees were blooming early in the morning. Soon after the long holidays from the end of April to the beginning of May, we will also enjoy the aroma of the beautiful pink blossoms.
