Niseko Hirafu Area is now in full flourish with shops and accommodations but the nearest railway station of the area is at the bottom of the valley and like hidden in the forest. No public transportation is provided but some of the hotels do that for their customers.
We reached Kombu area next to Niseko and Rankoshi to go to the hot spring spa adjacent to the station. This railway may be abolished after the bullet train railways are built and in service.
Local bus service will take over the role as a public transportation.The staff and their family to maintain the railway will leave the area. It will lead to more depopulation of the area.
