Lunch in the train to the north!

by Kazu

The ingredients of the topping were crab meat, slices of salmon, salmon roe, sea urchin and so on. "Ezo" was the name of the meal box. Hokkaido Island had been called "Ezo"  until many years ago.
Only watching only the veggie field covered with white  snow required me a lot of patience, after eating up the delicious lunch box sourced locally in the regions where the railway is put on.  It was so fine on that day.
The number of the cases of the covid-19 infection and its variants' is decreasing a little bit but we have to keep staying on our toes to avoid the infection. The railway manias called "Tetchan" in Japan had kept minimizing their activities during the pandemic. I hope they and other tourists will be able to change their gear to the top with full throttle.
