Passing by Toyotomi Town, we arrived in the northern end of Hokkaido Wakkanai City. We saw the areas near the railway including downtown of the cities and towns where the descendants of the pioneers were living.
This is the northern end of the railway maintained by JR Hokkaido. The yellow sign shows that. It matters so much for the railway manias. I can not understand that even now but I am exerting a effort to do that.
This is the platform of the railway station in Wakkanai City. Souvenir shops are in the station building but some of the souvenirs were sold out and not refilled because of the regulation under the pandemic of covid-19. We would leave there soon after our arrival.
