It might have been a good day for cruising offshore of Shiretoko Peninsula but we did not have enough time for that on that day. The flora of the eastern part of Hokkaido seemed to be different from that of western and southern part.
I've never reached the peak of Mt. Rausu-dake nor trekked around the mountain because the area is the habitat of brown bears and other wild lives. But my aunt had climbed the mountain in her twenty's. I think some skilled and seasoned guides were necessary for the trekking.
In order to avoid the case of infection of covid-19 from Wuhan, China, we selected this villa to enjoy our summer trip in Shiretoko area. The facility was much better than I expected before our visit
