Jogging in the field of potato, Kiyosato !

by Kazu

I've never reached the peak of Mt. Shari-dake. My wife seemed to want to try the mountain but considering the fact I had torn muscle on my calf, thigh and hip in my mid fifty's, that may be a little bit risky for our party.
On top of that, the number of brown bears seemed to be increasing in Shiretoko Peninsula and the bears may pushing the border of their habitat to the west.
We have to control the number of the brown bears on our island Hokkaido but it is prohibited to kill bears in the National Park Shiretoko that was designated as a World Natural Heritage. The losers of the bears have to go west from the area.
