Horoshin Dam in Numata Town ! !

It had been more than a year since I stayed with my wife in Horoshin Onsen of Numata Town last time. I changed the tires of my car for winter season in the morning on that day. I was so looking forward to jogging around the dam area of Numata Town.    

 

There had bee a coal mine near there before and the railways still connect Fukagawa City through Numata Town and to Rumoi City on the west coast of Hokkaido. An able and powerful mayor of the town planned "a Compact Town" as the population of the town was decreasing and the municipality had to cut down the administrative cost o run the town.  

Fortunately, attracted by the safe and comfortable silver life style in the town, many people settled in for their autumunal season of lives.

This is one of the charm of the town, Horoshin Onsen hot spring spa and resort. The culinary delights sourced locally welcome and entertain the visitors after healing their bodies and souls with the high quality hot spring water.
