The former public hall of Motomachi Area in Hakodate City was renovated but it took some years to allocate the budget for that. the goodwill of the citizens and businesses was organized and it reproduced the beauty of the building as before.
Some souvenir shops, ice cream bars, cafes and groceries were closed and would open at around 10:00 am. The residences seemed to have started the day. The smell of breakfast in the houses drifted in the air.
This cafe seemed to make the most of the old taste of the wooden house and its history. The vines on the wall of next house gave good atmosphere to the cafe. The slope to the bay showed me the sign to go back to the hotel we stayed.
