Different from the normal weekends, so many tourists and citizens of Niseko Town and Kutchan Town rushed to the parking lot of Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono on that day.
A special event was arranged and announced on that day. The indigenous people of Hokkaido called Ainu were expected to show their fire dance performance under the regular fireworks of the weekend-event " Mountain Light" on that day.
I thought it would be like the fire-knife performance by Polynesian people but in fact, it was so different from the ones although we really enjoyed their performance. I was not sure if the performance was Ainu traditional or not but anyway, their traditional dance and songs might as well be rearranged for commercial purposes, preserving their own traditional ones.
