This is one of the souvenir shop that sold glassware with the taste of old exotic Taisho Era in Japan. The bay area of the Port City Otaru has many glassware craft houses.
The hotel was run by Prince Hotel Group before but the assets were acquired by Hilton Hotel Chain but the original hotel staff were continuously hired by the hotel chain.
We visited the Guesthouse Aoyama Bettei in Otaru after enjoying our stay in Niseko International Area. Chinese peonies and Japanese ones were in full flourish in the garden of the guesthouse that was built by one of the ships owners in Otaru.
