by Kazu We took the streetcar from Goryokaku Park to "Yachigashira Residential Area" where there was a community hot spring spa "Yachigashira Onsen. My wife found a cozy cafe in the area on the Internet.
The name of the cafe is "Umi to Garasu" that means "Ocean and Glasses" in Japanese. Kids were swimming in the pool when we visited there in summer. The water was too cold this time at the beginning of May.
The peak of Mt. Esan on the opposite side of the peninsula could be seen from the window of the cafe. I was so intrigued by the underworld of the ocean.
