The parade of St. Patrick's Day inched to the east of Odori Park of Sapporo City in the cold wind of early spring. To be honest we needed fuel to warm up our bodies. I mean we needed alcohol. In Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, I drank pints of green beeron March 17.
Ambassador Kavanagh seemed to wear perfectly to resist the coldness of the wind from the north. We stopped at the foot of Sapporo TV Tower and took photos. It took a while for all the participants to the parade to reach there.
Taking photos, I remembered that the color of apporo TV Tower was red and green. It might be the good back ground to take the photos of St. Patrick's Parade.
