Many songs were composed for Bihoro Pass !

The peak of the lookout near Bihoro Pass is five minute-walk from the building of the eatery and souvenir shop beside the pass. 

The eastern part of Hokkaido has peculiar landscape that is different from the ones of the southern and western part of Hokkaido.

The flora seems to be so different. Larch trees and spruce seemed to cover the most of the mountains and wilderness of the eastern area of the island, I think.
