The Hotel Bear Monte on the hillside of Mt. Asahi-dake must be filled up with the tourists from other part on this globe including domestic tourists in Hokkaido. This hotel is at the highest point in the accommodations area on the hillside of the mountain.
The highland created so unique and beautiful atmosphere. They made the guests feel like to be given a kind of privilege. The fireplace seemed to be designed so as to be surrounded by the guests who could be chatting there.
The hotel was and is the nearest from the station of the ropeway that connect the accommodation area with the lookout and the entrance of the trail to the peak of the mountain. It is one of my favorite places to stay.
