This is the lookout space built on the second floor of the national museum of the indigenous people of Hokkaido "Upopoi" from where all the facility on its premises and Lake Poroto can be seen.
We visited "Upopoi" to see the special event featuring "Maaru the Ghost" written by our friend Ms. Rei Nakai who lives near our condo. in Sapporo. The main character of the popular children's picture books "Maaru the Ghost" seemed to introduce the beautiful scenery around the museum and Lake Poroto in the night.
The author Ms. Rei Nakai and her staff were asked to cooperate with Upopoi staff in order to hold the children's-book-reading event. It may be almost pro bono activity and never lucrative but she devoted herself to conducting this event. Please provide her with nice helpful supports.
