This is the original building of Kunimare Japanese Sake Brewery in Mashike Town on the west coast of Hokkaido Island, Japan. The sophisticated tasteful Japanese Sake requires the very best natural water without chlorine. The mountain behind the town creates the quality water.
The original building of the brewery is currently used as the shop of the famous and popular Japanese Sake Kunimare". The wooden body of the brewery was designated as the treasure of Hokkaido.
The Japanese traditional orange post was in front of the brewery and still in service.The aged and seasoned entrance of the brewery made me imagine the history of the northern end brewery in Hokkaido.
