The train station in Yoichi Town looked comparatively new and well maintained. We passed through this town again and again by car during the green season to go to Niseko, Kutchan Area.
The paddy fields and veggie fields were already covered with slight snow and the orchards in Yoichi Town and Niki Town were closed and got ready for cold winter.
We savored the produce in this area last year as usual. No director of the station must be dispatched in Niki Station. The railway is still important transportation for the people living along the lifeline.
