Poplar Trail and Sheep!

by Kazu

On the frozen grass field, a herd of sheep were eating the grass, protected by the poplar trees on the northern side of them. Some sheep were still sleeping on the field but those early sheep were eating around.
It was a little bit too early to take photos of the lines of poplar trees reflecting the sunshine from the east. But the bright part and shade made so nice contrast on the orange foliage.
Soon the green field will be covered with white snow and ice. The sheep will be packed in the small house and fed with fermented grass good for their digesting organ. Their wool hair will be cut next spring.
