These photos are the last ones of late Mr. Li Ke Qiang, the former Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China, I took in April of 2018. The central government of Japan brought this boarding ramp from Tokyo to provide the media with photo opportunity just before block-out.
The normal boarding ramp is covered with roof in New Chitose International Airport because such kind of official visit had rarely been conducted even in the largest airport in Hokkaido.
The chartered aircraft of China swallowed the official delegation members including its head and stayed on the tarmac for a while before take-off. I really appreciate the opportunity to have him here in Hokkaido.
