I think the hotel has ten elevators or more because the buildings of the hotel are separated to minimize the occasion to meet other guest and they were built on the mild slope of the hillside.
We chose the ramen noodle soup restaurant in the hotel "Afuri" for dinner on that day. It has the side menu like in Japanese bistro called "Izakaya". Chinese dumplings, tasteful and juicy fried chicken called "Zangi" in Hokkaido were so nice to have with pints of beer.
Afuri has a waiting bar counter. Soon the restaurant will be willed with the skiers from overseas and other regions of Japan. The prices of the cuisine may be a little bit more expensive than the lowland but it will satisfy the guests amply.
