The fur decorating the hood of their coat has the function to protect the face of the person in blizzard. The design of their attire was so nice and beautiful. But it has a pragmatic function.

This is the outlook of the Aleut Museum in Dutch Harbor on Unalaska Island. Different from the decorative design of the attire of Aleut people, the design of the museum was so simple.

There were some ponds and marsh around the hotel we stayed, Grand Aleutian Hotel. Many American bald eagles were flying and having a rest around the hotel.It may be the typical scenery of the place near arctic area.
