The Blood of the Leader of Unangax !

He is the Leader of Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska, in other word, the King of Unalaska. He kindly took us around on the island and showed us such beautiful and magnificent landscape including that of his private premises.

Many fish go up this river and spawn every year. It is the sacred area for the creatures of this island and Bering Sea. It should be preserved so carefully that he has been and is struggling to strike a balance between development and preservation. 

Everybody could recognize the God bless, gifts of deities in Aleutian Islands. In Japan, it has been said that eight million deities has been ruling the area of Japan and even deities has been and is working every day. Qawalangin people have same kind of notion.
