Furs of seals, sea otters, sea lions seemed to be the main materials to make the wear to stay warm. After first mongoloids went through the Aleutian Islands when the islands were the range on the land that connected Russia and North America, the sea level rose.
Aleut people went to the islands and settled in many years later. Russian people conquered North America and Aleutian Islands and used Aleut people like slaves to get the fur of sea otters.
Originally, the Aleut people believe in the the deities around them but affected by Russian Orthodox, they became Christian. Their housing was like that of Ainu people in Hokkaido.
