Grand Aleutian Hotel in the evening !

"Let's call it a day." we said after visiting the museums on Unalaska Island. We came back to the hotel we stayed , Grand Aleutian Hotel that had a lake in the courtyard.
An American bald eagle was tanding still on the pillar of the deck.

It was much warmer than we had expected but nobody was wearing such tanktop other than me. The time zone of the island is the same as Anchorage thousands kilometers east of the island, so the time of sunset was late. It was not so dark at around seven o'clock.

The mountains on Unalaka Island were not so high and not so much snow on them. The classic scenery of the northern island made me so excited. I was not sure if I would be able to visit the island again or not but many tourists swamp the island every year and the hotel is fully booked every summer.
