The abolished railway leads to the mountainous area but the transportation is not in service. Many tourists were taking photos on the platform of the station. No souvenir shop is in the station building but the adjacent building has them inside.
This is the back side of Ikutora Station. It seemed to take a small fortune to maintain the wooden building and the courtyard. It may be hard to open this building in winter.
As the train transportation is not in service anymore, the building and the garden must be trimmed by the municipality. It was getting hotter but still comfortable. It may be the peak season of tourism.
