Considering the population of Biei Town, the shrine seemed to be well-trimmed and maintained. Some wind bells were making nice sounds that cooled us down psychologically. The skyline of Tokachi Mountain Ridges looked so sharp and clear.
The former railway station used for movie film shooting before became one of the most popular place to visit and take photos for the tourists and the fans of the famous actor Mr. Ken Takakura featured in the film "Poppo-ya" which means the slung stationmaster.
The railway has not been taken off even after the transportation service was stopped. So many tourists visit there even now. The movie film was a kind of tragedy but very popular in Asia. Some tours to drop by the station are arranged every year but I am not sure if the youths want to visit there.
