The former Speaker of the Hokkaido Legislative Assembly Mr. Ren Endo led off the interview by one of the two Hokkaido Smile Ambassadors in Hawaii Ms. Reiko T. Rogers. She is the personality of "Island Breeze from Hawaii" broadcast by Fm Northwave headquartered in Sapporo.
The other personality Ms. Hiroko Iijima also had given us good support in the radio program and her private life.
Mr. Endo stepped down from his seat as a member of the Hokkaido Legislative Assembly but his role as the Chair of Malama Hawaii in Hokkaido was handed down to Mr. Sumio Fujisawa, the incumbent member of the Assembly.
We made a point of visit Studio Rim to deliver the information on Hokkaido itself and the relationship between Hokkaido and Hawaii to enhance the affiliation. I hope next generation and the next understand the value and the meanings of the affiliation amply and become the strong driving forces for the future of both ergions.
