A Happy New Year !

In the morning on January 2(Wed.), we enjoyed a Japanese traditional tea ceremony. My wife made the delicious green tea. We savor the sweetness and bitterness of the newly opened green tea.

As a Japanese, I really appreciate the sophisticated style of the behavior the server and the guests show in the ceremony.

Today's Japanese sweet was the rice cake that contains pickled burdock and sweet red-beans paste colored pink. It may be the best color to see at the beginning of this year. It was made by "Ryugetsu" headquartered in Obihiro City.

Some countries and people tried and are trying to destroy this culture and make us Japanese livestock but we have to protect our country and culture to hand down to next generation.
