My Little Boom around my condo !

My hubby has finished the annual total sweeping in our condo. I did nothing with regard to the sweeping called "Oh-Sohji" in Japanese. i have to finish my report for the graduation from the master course of public hygiene in Hokkaido University.

Above is the lighting surrounded by some small plants covered by white fluffy snow on the premises of our condo.
The cold beauties of the nature should be shared with your beloved, I think. Is that right ?

Daikoku Island Round Cruise !

The backside of the Island "Daikoku-jima"was so attractive but unfortunately, the round cruise was not sold as a big  draw of sightseeing in that area around Akkeshi Town.  

 It can be said that we were so lucky to see such a scenery that could not be seen by normal tourists.

Usually, Ringed Seal, Bearded Seal,
and Weddell seal on the beach
can be seen from this point.

 But we could not see that at that moment. We all were ready to shoot.

Something could be seen on the surface of the ocean..
"What's that ?", shouted one of the ladies.  Some ball-like objects were on the sea.

Merry Christmas !

As the major white illuminations in Hokkaido and other part of Japan must have been posted on the web automatically, I would like to introduce this tree decorated with LED light bulbs in front of the Institute for advancement of higher education on the premises of Hokkaido University.
It is turned off during the blizzard and heavy snowfall because almost nobody enjoy the beauty in such situation.

I could see the illuminated tree on my way of jogging tonight.  The design and layout of the light bulbs has got better year by year, I think..
Jogging on and around the premises of Hokkaido University is so comfortable and fantabulous. Please try to visit the northern end of the premises of Hokkaido University;)   if possible your beloved.  

Condolences to the friends !

This scenery could not be seen without the hard work of the ladies and the hospitality shown by Mr. Ishizaki. Namely, we were so lucky to see this hidden landscape because there was no sightseeing cruising around this island "Daikoku-jima".

Just the fishermen explore this area to pick up a variety of kelp and other kinds of the bless of the deity like Poseidon.

I hope the cruising tour will be well-arranged by the local entities and one of the most lucrative draw of Akkeshi Town.

It was too beautiful to tell about the tragedy around this area.

What do you think Mr. Ishizaki was gazing at ?

I think the people of ocean and the maritime forces know about this pose. A friend of Mr. Ishizaki fell from his boat and passed away. Mr. Ishizaki took the body of his best friend to Sapporo City for forensic medicine and that wore him down. He experienced stroke after his tough days, unfortunately.
Yes, he was extending his sincere condolences and friendship. I was not sure what he remembered.

The ladies might be so tired after the tough two-day work on the small island but the small dog "Kiinako"must have eased the pain of their joints and ligaments.

While drying the kelp, Mr. Ishizaki gave the ladies the information on his experience and the history of this small island. The question period might be short but based on the tough work they share, they could easily understand what Mr. Ishizaki explained.

As the reward for the tough work to the ladies, Mr. Ishizaki kindly arranged the round tour to "Daikoku Island".
Do you know that the base of former Japanese Maritime Force was in this island ?  

There is vary few flat area on this island and nobody is living there.Seals and birds could be seen on the coastline. No tour company has this type of tour around this island. We were so lucky to be able to see the back side of the island.

We finished all the experiencing program on the small island !

We were so satisfied with the result of the tough work to dry, collect, cut and pack the top-quality kelp the would be shipped to the ancient capital city Kyoto, Osaka and current capital Tokyo.

 The slime of the kelp stuck to our working wear smelled. We had to dispose the grab after the work every day.

Our mentor Mr. Ishizaki barely showed the change of his countenances even if the beautiful ladies requested  the photo opportunity, like this.

 Can you find the difference of the countenances of Mr. Ishizaki on these photos ?

After the talk and sharing tough work  with him, I felt a little bit difference in his face.

I was working hard even while the ladies were romping with the dog named "Kinako" and after completed my mandate on the small island, I took these photos without having a break.

But taking these photos and seeing their smiles pleased me so much.

 Yes, we finished all the program on the island at that moment. they seemed so relieved and worn out. I was convinced that I should treat them to other kinds of feast and pleasure during their stay in Hokkaido.

What do you think of our work of art made up on the last day on the island ?
I was so satisfied with the glaring  lines of kelp on the stone beach and the efforts of the beautiful ladies from the main land of Japan.

 It seemed that the back of Mr. Ishizaki told something on our contribution to his work and art as well as his mentality at that moment before our departure.

Long time no see. After the work to dry, cut and pack the kelp, taking care of the ladies, I might seemed to have got smaller than usual.
Tremendous beauties of the island, work, nature, creatures and human beings could be seen on the island and under the water;)
Everything was so beautiful !
